I am the owner and principal photographer for Alison Thompson Photography. I have been shooting weddings and all kinds of portraits since 2005. I am passionate about capturing your special moment and telling your story. I would describe my photography approach as a combination of lifestyle and classic styles.

Alison Thompson Photography is located in Plymouth, MA but I typically work throughout Cape Cod and South Shore areas, however I am willing to travel for an additional fee.

I grew up on the Cape with a love of all things art. I studied Fine Arts and Journalism for over 4 years but once I started studying photography I was soon hooked!

I have studied with some of the regions best photographers at various schools in the Boston and Providence areas and I am always contining my education through participating in seminars and workshops on a regular basis.

I live in Plymouth with my husband Derek, our children Ian, Sofia and Lucy and our 2 Goldendoodles Marley & Daisy.​
