I am the owner and principal photographer for Alison Thompson Photography. I have been shooting weddings and all kinds of portraits since 2005. I am am passionate about capturing your special moment in a creative yet unobtrusive way. I would describe my photography approach as a combination of formal and photojournalistic styles.
Alison Thompson Photography is located in Plymouth but I typically work throughout the Cape Cod and South Shore areas, however I am willing to travel for an additional fee.

Alison grew up on Cape Cod with a love of all things related to art. Having studies Fine Arts and Journalism for over 4 years, she started studying photography and was soon hooked.
She has studied with some of the regions best photographers at various schools in the Boston and Providence areas and continues her education through participating in seminars and workshops on a regular basis.
She lives in Plymouth with her husband Derek, their children Ian, Sofia and Lucy and their 2 Goldendoodles Marley & Daisy.
