Hi! I'm Ali
Thanks for being here! I absolutely love what I do and all the awesome people I get to meet along the way.
I am the owner and principal photographer for Alison Thompson Photography. I have been photographing weddings and all kinds of portraits since 2005. I am passionate about capturing your special moment and telling your story. I describe my photography approach as a combination of lifestyle and classic styles.
Alison Thompson Photography is located in Plymouth, MA but I typically work throughout Cape Cod and South Shore areas, however I am willing to travel for an additional fee.
I grew up on the Cape loving of all things art. I studied Fine Arts and Journalism for over 4 years but was hooked once I started studying photography.
I have studied with some of the region's best photographers at various schools in Boston and Providence as well as online workshops. I am always continuing my education because photography is ever-evolving and I like to keep up with trends with a classic slant.
I'm ALWAYS up for an adventure so bring me all your ideas and visions and we will bring them to life!
I live in Plymouth with my husband Derek, our children Ian, Sofia and Lucy and our 2 Goldendoodles Marley & Daisy.

I'm hosting Golden Hour beach Minis on Saturday 5/16 from 6 - 8 pm.
This is a great gift idea for Mother's Day - just sayin!
These sessions are a super quick 10 minutes, super fun and the perfect way update those family pics.
Best for immediate families, Mommy & Me, just the kids (leashed fur babies included!), professional headshots - you name it - I can capture it in that time frame.
Rain Makeup Date will be Sunday 5/17 same time and place.
