ACE Photography is owned and operated by Alison Thompson & Courtney Pugliese. We have been best friends for over 20 years. This is our 5th year of business and we have a true love of weddings and portraits. We strive to create our best work with each customer and project we take on. Focusing mostly on weddings and portraits of all kinds (children, families, even pets!), ACE Photography is passionate about capturing that special moment in a creative yet unobtrusive way. Our photography approach is a combination of formal and photojournalistic styles.

 

We are located in Plymouth and typically work throughout the Cape Cod and South Shore areas, however we are willing to travel for an additional fee.

Our Philosophy

 

Wedding Photography

Your wedding day is just that – YOUR day. ACE Photography feels it is the photographer’s job to capture your day in a professional yet fun and creative way. Formal portraits of you and your families are included in our wedding package but that is not our main focus. We prefer to shoot in a discreet photojournalistic style to catch those spontaneous fun or touching moments of you and your guests. Included in our wedding package are two photographers working together to capture all your formal and candid moments.

 

Portrait Photography

Portraits are an important way to mark a milestone in a family or person’s life. ACE Photography prefers to shoot our portraits outside, whether on the beach or in a beautiful woodland setting. We feel this is the best approach because not only is natural lighting the most flattering but being outdoors is a casual and fun setting. We have several outdoor locations that we prefer to use but we are open to suggestions from you. After all, it is your portrait and we want you to be happy!

Alison Thompson - Co-Owner & Photographer

Alison grew up on Cape Cod with a love of all things related to art. Having studies Fine Arts for over 4 years, she started studying photography and was soon hooked. She has studied with some of the region’s best photographers at various schools in the Boston and Providence areas and continues her education through participating in seminars and workshops on a regular basis. She lives in Plymouth with her husband Derek, their children Ian and Sofia and their cat Clyde.

 

 

 

 

Courtney Pugliese - Co-Owner & Photographer

Courtney was raised and educated on Cape Cod and later found her niche in design, studying Fine and Performing Arts at a liberal arts college in the Berkshires.  When her immediate family started to expand to a new generation, Courtney found her photography becoming more of a passion than a hobby.  She has studied with some of the best photographers in the Greater Boston area and continues to expand her knowledge through study and hands on experience. She lives in Plymouth with her husband Tony, their son Anthony and their dog Vito.
